I am Yeliz, the creator of Yelicious. I developed a product named Busy Activity Binder for children aged 2-4 years. During the pandemic, when my child was staying at home, I wanted to create something that is both fun and educational for him. As a result, I created 100 educational activity sheets that parents, teachers, and even occupational therapists can now use to make their own Busy Activity Binder at home.
Initially, my intention was not to start this as a business. I created it for my son to keep him busy and educated during the pandemic. However, I realized that if we can benefit from it, others can too. Thus, I started selling printables and even created an interactive PowerPoint slide for children to play with and explore on any device, which became a great hit. I kept creating more activities for my son, and that led me to establish Yelicious edu, a full membership site with more printable worksheets, activities, and games.
My signature product is the Busy Activity Binder. Many of my customers expressed their desire to have the Busy Activity Binder printed and cut already. In response, I began printing and laminating at home, but as the demand grew, I started collaborating with a local printing company. Unfortunately, at one point, the printing company's prices became unaffordable and not worth it due to inflation. But this didn't stop me! So I ordered from a Chinese printing company, which was more cost-effective. However, they required me to order in bulk and had high shipping fees, which still made it cheaper in the long run.
